Our Story

Delight Station was founded by Sue Cox, M.Ed. out of the desire to enhance and expand Day Programming and to provide a solution for those wanting to independently access safe, on-demand, programming at home.

Since the birth of her daughter, who has Down Syndrome and now lives interdependently with her family, Sue has worked as an advocate and activist for persons with I/DD. She has served on National Advocacy and local Special Education boards, founded a Day Program, and currently runs Residential Programming for individuals with I/DD in the state of Colorado.

Sue brings to Delight Station the expertise and thoughtfulness needed to generate a national platform and unite individuals with I/DD and their families through healthful and accessible opportunities.

When Vanessa isn't helping create or preview Delight Station content, she enjoys her daily walks, being a recognized artist, spending time with family and friends, and assisting with laundry and other household work.
