About This Video
In this craft activity, Olivia and Vanessa show participants how to make lollipop ghosts.
The video begins by gathering the main supplies, including coffee filters, a lollipop, a twist tie or yarn, and a marker or pen. Olivia and Vanessa then stack three coffee filters together and place the lollipop in the center.
Participants follow along as they wrap the coffee filters around the lollipop, secure the top with a twist tie or yarn, and create the shape of a small ghost. They can also tie a bow or bow tie around the ghost for decoration.
After the ghost shape is finished, participants use a marker or pen to draw a face. The video shows how a few simple steps can turn everyday supplies into a seasonal decoration or small treat to share.
This video gives participants a short hands-on craft activity focused on following directions, wrapping, tying, drawing, seasonal creativity, and making something fun from simple materials.

How to Use This Video
Use this video as a guided seasonal craft activity for a home routine, day program, small group, or supported craft session.
Caregivers can help participants gather coffee filters, lollipops, twist ties or yarn, and a marker. Participants can stack the filters, place the lollipop in the center, wrap the filters around it, secure the top, and draw a face.
This video can be paused while participants arrange the coffee filters, tie the string or twist tie, fluff the bottom of the ghost, and add facial details. Participants can make one ghost or repeat the process to make several.
Because this activity involves wrapped candy, small tying materials, markers, and a food item, caregivers should provide support with setup, choking or allergy considerations, tying, marker use, cleanup, and permission before sharing treats with others.
At the end, participants can name their ghost, display it, give it to someone else, or make another lollipop ghost with a different face or ribbon color.
